I just got one comment on my game - and I revised!
Hey everyone!
TGR just got a cool new update! Watch video if you are lazy to read:
So, here's the story.
An itch user named 1x-vision left a comment on TGR's Itch.io page. And guess what? It was the only positive comment I've gotten since launch. So of course, I had to make their suggestion a reality!
New Movement System: I revamped the tank movement based on their feedback. Now, tanks handle way better — you can even rotate the tank while it’s stationary. The tank’s turret (or “head”) now can rotate independently, which opens up both top-down third-person and as well as first-person gameplay.
Camera Improvements: You can now pre-set the camera height or adjust it in-game however you like. This adds a lot more flexibility and makes things way more fun.
Menu Revamp: The main menu got a facelift too. I really like this new CRT theme, but do you like the old one?. Let me know.
What’s Next: I’m working on adding roguelike upgrades, perks for the battlefield, and much more enemies. I’m sure it’s gonna get wild.
Thanks for sticking around and if you haven’t already, go follow and download Tanks Gone Rogue on Itch.io.
Until next update, here’s some gameplay footage. Enjoy!
